Jason Price is a Platinum Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot (PCSIP) and the founder of Mach 1 Aviation. Since earning his CFII in 2004, Jason has accumulated over 13,500 flight hours across a wide range of aircraft. He established Mach 1 Aviation in 2007 and transformed it into a Cirrus Training Center by 2008. In 2010, he achieved the PCSIP designation and has since continued to elevate flight training standards both locally and nationally. Jason has flown every generation of Cirrus aircraft and holds a type rating in the Cirrus Vision Jet (SF50). His deep experience and passion for aviation fuel his mission to help every pilot reach their highest potential.
A Southern California native, Erik joined Mach 1 Aviation in 2023 after years of managing a successful construction business across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. With a sharp eye for operations and a strong client-first mindset, Erik ensures the day-to-day experience at Mach 1 runs smoothly. He takes pride in supporting every aspect of the client journey with professionalism and care.
Frank began flying as a child with his father and brings a wealth of experience in both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft. His extensive background in flight instruction spans a wide variety of aircraft, and he is deeply committed to helping students become safe, proficient pilots. Frank’s passion for aviation is evident in every lesson he teaches.
Mark took his first flight lesson in high school in a Cessna 152 and was immediately hooked. After a career in product design, he returned to aviation—and hasn’t looked back since. Mark blends his focus on safety with a fun and engaging approach to instruction, helping students discover the joy and responsibility that come with becoming a pilot.
A second-generation aviator, Chris has been flying since the age of twelve. With experience in Cirrus aircraft, aerobatics, UPRT, and tailwheel flying, he brings a versatile background to his instruction. Christopher’s charisma and passion for aviation create an energetic learning environment where students are encouraged to grow, refine their skills, and push their potential.
Evan Jarvis has earned seven certifications over the past two years, turning his lifelong passion for aviation into a full-time career. As Assistant Chief Pilot, Evan is known for his mentorship-driven approach, helping students gain both technical expertise and confidence in the cockpit. His supportive teaching style emphasizes safety, decision-making, and professionalism.
Enzo began flight training at El Monte Airport in 2020. After earning his private pilot certificate, he pursued further training in Seattle, where he earned his instructor ratings in 2024 and completed a degree in Aeronautics from the University of North Dakota. Enzo is dedicated to sharing his love of flight and helping students build strong fundamentals from day one.
Roman’s passion for aviation began in his youth, inspired by his mother—an aerospace engineer in Poland—and time spent at his local aeroclub. After a successful career in IT, he reignited his love for flying and earned his CFII in 2024. Roman has completed eight coast-to-coast flights in a Cirrus SR22, visiting over 90 airports across the U.S. Known for his approachable style and technical insight, Roman is a dedicated instructor who takes pride in developing confident, capable pilots.
Jacob began his aviation journey training with Jason at WHP in 2015. After earning his B.S. from Central Washington University and completing his commercial license, he returned to Southern California in 2021 to finish training at Mach 1. Jacob brings a genuine enthusiasm for aviation and enjoys assisting clients at every stage of their flight journey.
Born and raised in Southern California, Zach has deep family roots in the region’s aerospace industry. With a lifelong passion for aviation and a degree in history from CSUN, Zach brings knowledge and enthusiasm to the front desk team.
