Why Cirrus?

There is something special hiding inside of every Cirrus aircraft that makes Cirrus the safest aircraft to train in. Tucked in each plane is the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System, or C.A.P.S. for short. In the event of an unrecoverable in-flight emergency, Cirrus pilots have the ability to pull the parachute which returns the plane and passengers safely to the ground. Since implementation, C.A.P.S. has saved nearly 300 souls and has a 100% survival rate when deployed within designed and demonstrated parameters. (Since implementation, every single passenger involved in a C.A.P.S. deployment has been returned to the ground able to tell the tale.)
